Former Senator Fred Thompson's mother dies - WSMV Channel 4

Ruth Bradley Thompson, mother of former Senator Fred Thompson, was laid to rest Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Thompson passed away Thursday. She was 92 years old.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Napier, TN, on Aug. 27, 1920, and was the daughter of the late Clarence B. and Katherine S. Bradley, according to her obituary.
Mrs. Thompson was married for 50 years to Fletcher Thompson of Lawrenceburg, TN, who preceded her in death in 1990.
In Lawrenceburg, the Thompsons raised two sons, Fred D. Thompson and Ken D. Thompson.
