NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A suspect in the fatal shooting of a man last month at a Nashville bar surrendered himself to police Saturday afternoon.

Phillip D. Morton, 49, of Baptist World Center Drive, is accused of killing Keith Gaston, 29, inside the Hard Times Bar on Dickerson Pike on Aug. 23.

Gaston, of Yazoo City, MS, was sitting on a stool when someone approached and shot him.  He died at the scene, and the gunman walked out of the bar.

Morton refused to speak with detectives on Saturday about the situation, and is currently being held in the Metro Jail in lieu of a $350,000 bond.
