(RNN) – Politics are now more interesting than "planking" or "Tebowing."
Clint Eastwood has the most talked about speech from Thursday night's Republican National Convention, eclipsing presidential nominee Mitt Romney.
The 82-year-old actor spoke to an empty chair as if President Barack Obama was sitting in it - and thus spawned the latest internet meme – "Eastwooding."
People on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr and other social media sites are posting pictures of them talking to or pointing at an empty chair.
Eastwood's bit also has spawned a Twitter account called @InvisibleObama, where the icon is an empty chair, and is re-posting tweeted photos of "Eastwooding."
As a response to Clint Eastwood's speech, Obama's Twitter feed posted a picture of the president sitting in his chair at a cabinet meeting with the message, "This seat's taken."
Just think, there's 67 days left until the election.
