NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police are trying to identify the gunman who robbed a Cricket store last night.

The suspect entered the store at 814 Briley Parkway at 7:30 p.m. He struck the clerk in the head with his handgun, jumped over the counter and took money from the register before fleeing on foot.

The clerk refused medical treatment.

The robber is a white man who appears to be in his 20s. He is approximately 5'8" and weighs about 170 pounds. He wore a bandanna to cover his face.
