Person hit with beer bottle outside Municipal Auditorium

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police are investigating a possible assault in downtown Nashville early Friday morning.

The man was apparently hit over the head with a beer bottle in the 600 block of Church Street. The victim was found on Fifth Avenue North near Municipal Auditorium.

Metro Police closed Fifth Avenue North outside Municipal Auditorium during the investigation.
