NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A woman who just moved to Nashville found the kindness of a stranger in a Green Hills coffee shop.
The Well Coffeehouse prides themselves on helping the "oppressed, underprivileged, and impoverished" and allows customers to post a note on the store's "Wishing Well" if they are in need of anything.
Jessica Robinson recently swallowed her pride and posted on the wall that she needed a vehicle. Two weeks later, she received a text message from a man offering her a used truck.
Tristan, a first time visitor to the Well, spotted the note and knew he could help.
"For me personally, as a Christian, it requires me to show my love by doing things, by taking action and not just standing still," Tristan said.
Robinson got the truck this week and couldn't be happier about her new ride.
Tristan works as a youth pastor in Mt. Juliet. Recently someone gave him a new car to better work with students.
He said that giving Robinson his old truck was a way to pay it forward and encourage others to do the same.
