NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Vanderbilt Commodores are paying tribute to the U.S. champions from the Little League World Series.
The team from Goodlettsville will be honored at midfield during the Thursday night Vanderbilt-South Carolina football game in Nashville. The game is being broadcast by ESPN.
Last week Goodlettsville became the first Tennessee team to win the U.S. championship at the Little League World Series. They then played for the world title, losing to Japan.
