NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A Brinks armored car guard was held up at about noon Tuesday at a Regions Bank branch in south Nashville.
The incident occurred at the Regions located at 4056 Nolensville Rd. near Harding Place.
Police said the suspect approached the guard as he was moving money on a dolly toward the bank and pepper-sprayed him in the face.
The suspect then fled the scene with a bag containing an undisclosed amount of money.
Police describe the suspect as a white man who is approximately 6' tall and 200 pounds. They said he covered his face with some sort of plastic or latex to conceal his identity.
