NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Titans are young enough that it looks like they're in the early stages of a rebuilding project, especially with coach Mike Munchak turning the offense over to Jake Locker in his second season.

But the Titans don't have a next-year plan. Their short-term goal is reaching the playoffs this year - which would be their first appearance since 2008.

Veteran receiver Nate Washington says the goal has to be the playoffs. He says it's fine time they did it after talking about it long enough. He says everyone is focused and working hard to reach that goal.

The Titans missed an AFC wild-card berth by a tiebreaker in 2011 going 9-7 in Munchak's head coaching debut yet still finished with their first winning record since 2008.
