Metro teacher placed on leave after scuffle with student

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro school administrators are looking into a violent exchange between a Cane Ridge High School teacher and student that was caught on tape.

Teacher Rob McKenzie got into a verbal and physical altercation with a student in class. Video shows the two wrestling each other to the floor.

A student recording the incident and posted it to YouTube.

McKenzie has been placed on administrative leave while school officials investigate.
