3 horses killed in Davidson Co. barn fire

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A fast-moving barn fire claimed the lives of three horses Monday evening in southern Davidson County.

The fire was reported just after 8:30 p.m. in the 5800 block of Pettus Road.

Three horses were inside the fire, and they did not survive.

Authorities said there was no electricity at the barn, and they do not yet know the cause of the fire.
