Motorcyclist killed in Cannon County wreck

WOODBURY, TN (WSMV) -

A motorcycle and a sports utility vehicle collided in Cannon County Monday afternoon, leaving one person dead, according to police.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 2 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 70 and Lassiter Road.

Witnesses said the two vehicles collided and caught fire.

The motorcyclist, Raymond Knox Jr., died at the scene. The driver of the SUV was not seriously hurt.
