Clarksville police said thieves used Craiglist to scope out a victim and steal $10,000 worth of his property.
Officers said Rosario Garcia, 70, posted on the website, asking for help repairing his iPods.
Investigators said three men came to his house to pick up the electronics. The three men have been identified as Curties Arzon, 21; Malcolm Chase, 22; and Robert Geralds, 19.
During the weekend, the three men called Garcia telling him they were unable to complete the work, and suggested that he should go out and buy a new iPod.
While Garcia was away, the three men broke into his house, stole his property and distributed it through a network of fencing operations.
All three are now charged with aggravated burglary. Police have recovered a portion of the property stolen.

Kaitlyn Hunt's supporters say she is being prosecuted because she was in a sexual relationship with someone of the same sex. Authorities say it isn't a gay rights issue at all, but rather a simple case of an adult inappropriately involved with a minor.
