SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, PA (WSMV/AP) - Goodlettsville will face Petaluma, CA, in Saturday's U.S. Championship of the Little League World Series.

California pounded out 12 hits in an 11-1, five-inning victory over San Antonio on Thursday night.

Goodlettsville already defeated California last Sunday 9-6, but Petaluma battled back from the losers bracket.

Goodlettsville, which is the first team to represent Tennessee at the World Series in 25 years, defeated San Antonio on Wednesday night.

The winner of Saturday's U.S. Championship game will play the international champion on Sunday for the World Series title.

A bus departed the Goodlettsville K-Mart Friday night en route to Williamsport for Saturday's game.

Hundreds of friends and fans have been cheering on the Goodlettsville All-Stars, with viewing parties at Moss Wright Park. Supporters donned their blue and watched Wednesday's game on a 28-foot inflatable screen.
