NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A Davidson County judge sentenced a man to 23 years in prison Wednesday for the 2009 shooting death of a karaoke DJ.
DJ Ben Goeser was working with his wife inside Johnny's Sports Bar in south Nashville the night of April 2 when Hank Wise, 47, shot him several times.
Police said he was obsessed with Goeser's wife.
Witnesses tackled Wise and held him until police arrived.
A psychiatrist who had examined Wise testified he has a delusion disorder.
