NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The new Randall and Sadie Baskin Center officially opened its doors this morning, following a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The 75,000-square-foot building houses Belmont University's College of Law and features state of the art classrooms, courtrooms, and a two-story law library.

The three-story brick and limestone structure sits atop a five-level underground garage that accommodates more than 500 parking spaces.

Designed and built by locally owned companies, the Baskin Center is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Acklen and 15th avenues.
