SPRING HILL, TN (WSMV) -
A resolution challenging the power of the Spring Hill planning commission failed a Monday night vote by the city's board of mayor and alderman.
Mayor Michael Dinwiddie said that it was evenly split with four members supporting it and four voting against it.
One alderman was not present during the meeting.
The resolution would have affirmed a November vote against plans for a crematory.
The measure also claimed that the planning commission interfered by approving a plan for the crematory site.
