BOWLING GREEN, KY (WSMV) -
A rape and kidnapping suspect is in the hospital after leading police on a chase in Warren County, KY.
Officers tried to stop James Coitrone on Veterans Memorial Lane on Sunday, but police said he refused to pull over.
Coitrone, who was riding a motorcycle, led officers on a chase through heavy traffic.
The chase came to an end when he slowed down suddenly and was rear-ended by a police car.
Coitrone was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center in critical condition.
