Man's body recovered from Cumberland River

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police detectives and the state medical examiner's office are working to identify a body found Friday afternoon in the Cumberland River.

The body, described as a white male, was recovered from the river near Clarksville Pike.

Police said the body appeared to have been in the water for some time, and a cause of death has not been determined.
