NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
No one was injured Friday morning when a car crashed into a Papa John's restaurant in Madison, according to Metro police dispatch.
The wreck occurred at the restaurant located at 136 South Gallatin Road around 11 a.m.
Police said a woman was at the SunTrust Bank drive through window when her car somehow accelerated, hitting the pizza restaurant.
A worker at the Papa John's was pinned for a short time. Both the worker and the driver were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police said they don't anticipate any charges will be filed.
As a precaution, the Nashville Fire Department called a gas company to the restaurant due to the ovens and gas lines inside the building.
