Marc Panu, a Vandy football player who proved hard work really does pay off, has become an internet sensation.
The video posted on the Commodore's YouTube Channel last week has gotten more than 325,000 views.
Why is it so popular?
Probably because it's inspirational in its simplicity.
Panu, a fourth-year walk-on, was recognized for his hard work with a full scholarship and given a standing ovation by every single player and coach in the room.
Vanderbilt's estimated cost for the 2012-13 school year is nearly $60,000.
