NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Beer brought in a lot of bucks for the Nashville Zoo, and we don't mean the deer.
Brew at the Zoo, held in June, raised nearly $51,000.
Two thousand people attended the event, which featured live music, local food trucks and craft beer from around the county.
This was the first year for Brew at the Zoo, and the zoo plans to continue the event next year, scheduled for May 31st.
