An inmate who walked away from a minimum security facility near Centerville on Thursday morning has been captured, according to the state Department of Correction.
Around 9 a.m., officials discovered Calvin Reeves, 39, was missing from the Turney Center.
Reeves was found at the Scottish Inn Hotel on Murfreesboro Road where he was arrested just after 4 p.m.
Officials said a female accomplice found with Reeves at the hotel, whose identity has not been released, has also been arrested.
Reeves is serving a 30-year sentence for nonviolent offenses including drug convictions in Putnam County. He would have been eligible for release as early as 2016.
He now faces escape charges and is being held at the Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Nashville.
