Restaurant fire likely caused by arson, police say

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Investigators said a fire at a Montgomery County restaurant near the Kentucky state line was likely set on purpose.

The Leaf Chronicle reported that an arson investigation has been opened regarding a fire at the Moss's Coach House Restaurant just south of Guthrie, KY.

The building caught fire Sunday morning.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said someone stole a cash register then set fire to the restaurant.

No suspects have been named in the case.
