NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
About three dozen illegal immigrants are being bussed in to hold a public rally to bring attention to immigration issues Thursday.
The "No Papers, No Fear" bus will be rolling into Nashville.
The bus tour comes at a time when the Tennessee Supreme Court is deciding whether Davidson County Sheriff Daron Hall has the authority to enforce a federal immigration program.
The public rally will be at the Super Mercado on Nolensville Pike from 6 to 9 p.m.
Last year, a federal judge awarded a Nashville undocumented worker $200,000 after ruling her rights were violated when she was arrested for a routine traffic ticket and taken to jail.
