Alcohol may be involved in overnight crash

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police said alcohol was likely a factor in an overnight crash that closed Gallatin Pike.

Police said a driver, who might have been drunk, pulled in front of another vehicle at the intersection with Litton Avenue.

The driver suspected of drinking was taken to a hospital.

Gallatin Pike was closed for a time while the accident scene was cleared.
