NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A pedestrian is expected to survive after they were struck by a car Wednesday night at a busy intersection near downtown.
The incident was reported at about 9:45 p.m. at Rosa L. Parks Boulevard and Monroe Street.
Police said it looks like the pedestrian simply walked in front of the vehicle, and the driver didn't have time to stop.
Authorities have not released the victim or driver's name.
