
A Tennessee team will play Thursday night in a Little League World Series game for the first time 25 years.
The Goodlettsville All-Stars advanced by winning the Southeast Regionals on Friday by defeating Warner Robbins, GA.
Goodlettsville is one of 16 teams competing in the annual series held in South Williamsport, PA,. Their first game is Thursday at 7 p.m. against Kearney, NE.
A watch party is being held at Moss Wright Park starting at 6 p.m. People who attend are encouraged to wear white.
To earn money for the trip, family members associated with the team held a fundraiser this week to pay for costs to go to Pennsylvania.
The Little League World Series will be held from Aug. 16-26.
