Many Tennessee homeowners have spoken out against the Tennessee Valley Authority's policy of clear-cutting trees growing near its power lines, and now they can tell the utility just how they feel.
The TVA Board of Directors is set to meet Thursday in Knoxville, and the meeting will include a public listening session.
Concerned citizens will have three minutes each to express their concerns about the TVA tree policy.
The meeting is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. at the West Tower Auditorium in the TVA's downtown Knoxville headquarters at 400 West Summit Hill Dr.
If you want to attend, sign up in advance at www.tva.gov/abouttva/board/speak.htm or in person at the auditorium by 8:15 a.m. And if you can't attend, written comments will be accepted via email to board@tva.gov.
