HOPKINSVILLE, KY (WSMV) -
A trip to visit friends out of state has come to a tragic end for two young brothers from Hopkinsville.
Deputies say Alick Monson,12, and Lewis Monson, 14, drowned in a friend's pool in Carbondale, IL, Saturday night.
According to investigators, the two young boys were swimming unsupervised when they were found at the bottom of the pool.
Autopsies are under way to determine the exact cause of death, police said.
