FRANKLIN, TN (WSMV) -
Early morning Sunday, officers were dispatched to investigate a crash on Championship Boulevard in the Westhaven Subdivision.
The vehicle driven by a reportedly unconscious man collided with a parked car. Responding officers found 54-year-old Richard Kloete of Franklin unconscious, with his foot resting on the gas pedal. The car was still running and in drive.
Officers determined that Kloete was impaired and arrested him for his fourth DUI, which is a felony. Kloete is free on a $25,000 bond and due in court on Aug. 23, 2012 at 2 p.m.
