Rutherford County deputy involved in crash

MURFREESBORO, TN (WSMV) -

Police are investigating a crash in Murfreesboro involving a Rutherford County deputy.

According to witnesses, it happened around 10 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of South Church Street and Warrior Drive.

The cruiser was smashed up, but it's not clear how the accident happened or whether the deputy suffered any injuries.
