MOUNT JULIET, TN (WSMV) -
An arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of a man who was directing traffic outside a Mt. Juliet bar early Saturday morning.
The incident happened after midnight at "Fat Friday" on Central Pike.
According to witnesses, the victim, Maurice Dobson, was directing traffic when someone shot him and sped away.
The Wilson County Sheriff's Department arrested Samuel Wayne Ramsey, 35, of Watertown, TN, and charged with criminal homicide in the shooting death.
The bar was hosting a reunion party for a bikers' club at the time of the shooting. The owner said Dobson was not a member of that club.
