TULLAHOMA, Tenn. (AP) - More Tennessee National Guard members are heading to Bahrain.
State military officials in Nashville said 39 soldiers of the guard's 1175th Transportation Company, based in Tullahoma, departed the armory shortly after 9:00 this morning.
Troops are departing for training at Camp Shelby in Mississippi.
After a short specialized training period there, the members will be deployed overseas for nine months in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
