HENDERSONVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A Hendersonville teenager is facing arson charges for allegedly setting a fire that caused thousands of dollars in damage.
According to fire officials, crews responded to the fire on Wednesday at Waterview Apartments. Apparently, someone had set the apartment's mailbox building on fire along with a porch on a nearby unit.
Police charged an unidentified 17-year-old with arson and vandalism.
The damages to the complex and a vehicle on the property totaled more than $33,000.
