COLUMBIA, TN (WSMV) -
Police are trying to figure out if a series of unsolved robberies are all a part of a violent gang initiation.
Columbia police officials told us they are investigating a half-dozen robberies all over Maury County, all within the past several weeks.
The most recent attempt was Tuesday night at the Dollar General in Columbia. Surveillance video shows a gunman in a masking trying to get inside the locked front door.
The suspects in other robberies have also worn masks and used similar guns.
