NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The lane closures are as follows:

  • Sunday, Aug. 12 and Monday Aug. 13, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. (both nights) – Two lanes of I-65 southbound will be closed for bridge work. One lane will remain open.
  • Tuesday, Aug. 14, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. – The inside lane of I-65 northbound and southbound will be closed for bridge work. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 15 and Thursday, Aug. 16, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. (each night) – Two lanes of I-65 northbound will be closed for bridge work. One lane will remain open.

The lane closures are part of a $940,000 project to replace the bridge deck on the 3rd Avenue bridge that crosses over I-65.

The project is expected to be complete by May 2013.
