McMINNVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A mother and son have been charged for marijuana that was found growing behind the Warren County Animal Control shelter.
Police arrested Tamara Webb, director of the Warren County Animal Control shelter, Monday night after a grand jury handed down an indictment.
Webb, along with her son Jonathan Smith, is charge with the manufactured, delivery and sale of marijuana. Webb was placed on administrative leave.
The sheriff's department found 36 marijuana plants growing behind the facility last month.
Webb's son was arrested at the time, but now authorities say she was part of the operation and bought the garden hoses leading to the marijuana field and the potting soil surrounding the plants.
Both Webb and her son have denied any knowledge of the marijuana.
