SPRING HILL, TN (WSMV) -
The public got a look Wednesday at the new engine that will be built at the General Motors plant in Spring Hill.
Workers will make a new version of the Ecotec engine, a 2.5 liter, four-cylinder engine that will be first used in the Chevrolet Malibu, according to a news release.
This is part of a $460 million investment by General Motors in Maury County. It was first announced in 2010 that the plant would build this engine.
