TX suspect arrested in Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

An traffic stop early Wednesday morning resulted in the arrest of a man wanted in Texas.

Just after midnight, an officer stopped a car with a cracked tail light on Old Hickory Boulevard and Gallatin Pike.

The officer ran the license of the driver, Ramon Rodriguez, and found he was wanted in El Paso, TX, for a probation violation related to a prior homicide charge.

Rodriguez was arrested and will be sent to Texas to face that charge.
