Patron shot by bar owner at nearby gas station

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

One person was shot during a fight at a gas station Tuesday night in Hermitage.

The shooting occurred around 10 p.m. at a Mapco on Lebanon Road after a fight had started at a nearby bar.

The bar owner had followed a patron to the gas station, according to a witness. Some sort of fight then occurred.

According to a gas station attendant, the bar owner then shot the patron during the fight. The injured patron was able to ride a motorcycle to a nearby hospital. His condition is unknown.

No names have been released by police. It's unclear if any charges will be filed.
