Williamson County Fair opens to big crowds

Posted: Updated:
FRANKLIN, TN (WSMV) -

The Williamson County Fair opened to some big crowds this weekend.

Totals indicate this past weekend's attendance was as good as, if not better, than the best opening weekend in the fair's history.

This year's theme is "Life on the Farm."

Along with all of the traditional fair rides, visitors can even experience the famous Seattle Wheel featured in Elvis Presley's film, "It Happened at the World's Fair."

The Williamson county Fair will continue through Aug. 11.  Admission for adults is $6 and $3 for children.
