2 Dollar Generals robbed

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Two Dollar General stores were robbed Sunday night in Nashville, with customers still inside.

The first store on Murfreesboro Pike was hit at approximately 8:35 p.m., and the store on Antioch Pike was hit at approximately 8:55 p.m.

Based on the description of the suspect from both locations, police think the same person robbed both stores. There is surveillance video, and police are trying to retrieve it.

The man is described as wearing black shorts, a black T-shirt and armed with a black revolver.

The man held the employees at gunpoint, but police don't know how much money was taken. The customers hid in the back of the store until it was over. There were children in the store in Antioch.

No one was injured.
