LEBANON, TN (WSMV) -
A fire destroyed the Sellars Funeral Home on Baddour Parkway in Lebanon early Sunday.
About half of the building was engulfed when first responders arrived around 5 a.m.
It was not immediately clear how the fire began. The fire chief said that a passerby spotted the flames and called 911. The building is considered a total loss.
The fire chief also told Channel 4 News that there were no bodies inside the building.
The funeral home is owned by Judd Sellars. Sellers' father said there were no chemicals in the part of the building where the fire began.
