Storms weaken; Severe Threat canceled

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The storms moving through Middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky have weakened considerably; therefore, the Slight Risk status assigned to Middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky Sunday has been canceled.

Thunderstorms are still a possibility in the late Sunday night and early Monday morning hours, but they should be far less intense, not posing a severe threat.

In the event of severe weather, the 4Warn Weather Team will provide live streaming coverage at wsmv.com.
