NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police made an arrest early Wednesday morning after a driver allegedly hit a pedestrian and then crashed his vehicle at a nearby Burger King restaurant.

Police arrested Ahsan Wynn, 26, and charged him with four misdemeanor counts, including driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, failure to comply and failure to give information/render aid.

Wynn allegedly hit a pedestrian with his Oldsmobile on Cephas Street. He fled the scene, only to crash his vehicle at the Burger King on Gallatin Pike in Madison. He was found and arrested in the drive-thru.

Police report damage to his car consistent with hitting a pedestrian. Blood and hair samples were taken from his damaged windshield.

Police also report Wynn appeared to be heavily intoxicated. He smelled strongly of alcohol and admitted to drinking, although he could not remember how much. He appeared very unsteady and nearly fell twice.

Wynn is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.  He is being held on a $23,000 bond.

Wynn has previously been arrested and convicted for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and driving without a license.
