Groundbreaking for new downtown hotel today

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A ceremonial groundbreaking will take place today for the new Hyatt Place Nashville hotel.

The 255 room hotel will be placed at 3rd Avenue South and Molloy Street, near the Music City Center.

The new Hyatt should be operational before the end of 2013.
