
Metro police took four juveniles into custody after a carjacking near downtown Nashville late Saturday.
The carjacking happened just before 9 p.m. near the corner of 1st Avenue South and North Hill Street.
A short time later, officers spotted the vehicle in Hermitage.
According to police, one of the suspects threw a gun away before the car hit a building on Burning Tree Drive.
The suspects tried to run away, but were quickly taken into custody.
According to Capt. Preston Brandimore, charges in the case are pending.
