NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
A pair of teenage brothers were arrested Friday after police said they robbed a 74-year-old man outside the victim's north Nashville home.
Kemontanez Armstrong, 18, and his 15-year-old brother, are accused of approaching the man on Haynes Street and asking him for a light. They then demanded his wallet and showed pistols they were carrying, police said.
After taking the man's wallet, they fled on foot.
A police canine team later found the teens hiding in a home in the 2000 block of Baptist World Center Drive. There, officers found two pistols and the victim's wallet, police said.
Armstrong is charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated assault. His brother faces similar charges in juvenile detention.
