A mentally disabled woman who was abandoned by her mother at a bar in East Tennessee will be returning to her home state of Illinois.
According to police, Lynn Cameron, 19, was left at the Big Orange Bar in Caryville in June.
Police spent several days trying to determine her identity because of her inability to communicate. Officers have described her maturity level as that of a 2-year-old.
Eventually, investigators traced Cameron back to Algonquin, IL, where she lived with her mother, Eva Cameron.
Eva Cameron told authorities that she was not interested in taking her daughter back home with her.
Authorities have not been able to charge the mother with breaking any laws.
